Log of the proceedings of HMS Mersey kept by F.T.D. Clark, master's assistant. G.W.C. Courtney was the captain. The Mersey sailed to the West Indies 18 Feb. 1830-21 March 1830. The journal also contains the log of HMS Ranger 22 March 1830-Jan. 1831 and the log of the convict ship Jupiter kept by the mate F.T.D. Clark on a voyage from England to Van Diemen's Land, 1832-1833. The master was W.S. Clark.
